Structure and Working Principle of Flange Butterfly Valve

Flange butterfly valve structure:
Vertical plate structure, the stem is the overall metal seal valve sealing ring for flexible graphite plate and stainless steel plate composite structure, mounted on the valve body, butterfly plate sealing surface is made of stainless steel. The sealing ring of the soft sealing valve is made of nitrile rubber.

Metal seal valve design is the use of three eccentric structure principle, the use of the inherent cam effect, completely eliminate the 90 degree travel between the seat and the seal of the friction. 

Soft seal butterfly valve design uses a single eccentric structure, and the middle line of the soft seal is different, the butterfly plate can be rotated about 20 degrees, the seat and the sealing ring is separated rapidly, thereby reducing friction. Butterfly plate was installed in the pipe diameter direction. 

Sanitary butterfly valve body in the cylindrical channel, disc shaped disc rotated around the axis, the rotation angle is 0 degrees ~90 degrees, when rotated to 90 degrees, the valve is fully open state.
